My experiences with Himalayan Foundation Nepal was definitely one of the most blessed and cherished memories. It totally brushed my thought and opened my mind. I was doubted and worried before I stepped out the Airport because I was afraid of the safety and cleanness in Kathmandu. However, I was totally welcomed and greeted by the most lovely smiles and laughs of the children, who took care of each other (and me <3)without any selfish.  David, the pastor of the church, manages the orphanage like a family. Every morning the children pray in the living room and sing songs. It is not a requirement to volunteers to join the morning pray, but welcome to be a part of them. As well as night pray, every day at six o’clock, we would sit on the carpet in the living room like a circle, sing the pray songs in Nepalese, read Holy Bible, and pray for everyone we care about. It was kind, warm, and beloved. Meals the traditional local food that taste the best with serving by right hand, were offered twice a day at 9 am and 7 pm. There is no set duty for volunteer; however, they welcome everyone to join the daily like, such as walking to the school, talking to their teachers, helping to finish homework, and playing with them. I can never forget their smiles and hugs. I will go back to visit them for sure!
